One of our customers, an international company focused on the development of high quality software solutions for big institutions in banking and financial area is looking for: ORACLE ADMINISTRATOR The requirements: - Excellent command of English language (both written and spoken) - Previous experience with Oracle( including version 9i and 10g) - Knowledge on Standby implementations, Oracle failsafe, RAC, - Some knowledge in Windows 2003 (including MSCS cluster administration) and Unix, especially on Solaris, HP-UX but also on Linux - Knowledge in HP Business Availability Center and Sitescope will be considered as an advantage - Responsible and organized person with excellent teamwork ability The responsibilities: - Monitoring of Databases, standard operations of databases and application components associated - Monitoring of Databases and standard operations of databases - Monitoring of application components associated - Proactive run to reduce exposure to outages and performance bottlenecks - Incident resolution and tickets escalation to technical solution architects - Incident escalation to Hardware maintenance provider for servers issue resolution - Storage monitoring, performance follow-up and capacity planning - System maintenance and periodic patching of systems - Reporting to management of the systems and databases.
